The ALPHA 800 is a reliable professional-grade helicopter UAV platform that can complete missions in fully-autonomous, manual or a combination of both autonomous and manual modes. Among its many important features, the ALPHA 800 can take off and land autonomously. Weighing less than 14kg, the ALPHA 800 is not affected by many UAV flight regulations that restrict the use of UAVs heavier than 25kg.

The ALPHA 800 provides important operational advantages and is able to perform missions similar to those done by manned helicopters. With lower maintenance requirements and lower overall costs, the Alpha 800 is an affordable and reliable professional-grade UAV with more than 15 different payloads already integrated and ready to fly.

ALPHA 800 UAS combines three important aspects of any rotary wing UAV of this type:

Designed for the effiency, built to last! 

Designed and built for the most demanding applications the ALPHA 800 UAS complies with the most strict aeronautic design requirements. 

Each component of the helicopter has been designed and assembled using 2D and 3D CAD tools. The airframe is built using aeronautical grade aluminum and carbon fiber. 

The engine is a small, efficient and robust 2 stroke engine. It is the most reliable option available today. 

Industrial grade belt transmission system drives the power from the engine to the rotors and to the on-board alternator, ensuring low maintenance and high reliability.

Protected electronics systems

The electrical systems of the ALPHA 800 UAS are individually isolated from the vibrations and comply with IP64 as minimum rating.  The main wiring uses MIL-SPEC connectors and is protected against abrasion, vibration and corrosion.

Redundancy and safety

The alternator provides redundancy to the system and in the unlikely event of generator failure, the backup battery will ensure safe landing. Payload and servos power supply ports are protected by resettable fuses and ensure that the rest of the systems will continue working in the event of a subsystem failure.

Interconnected systems

The camera, autopilot and the engine monitor are interconneted to each other and provide the operator with all relevant information on one screen. CHT, Fuel quantity, Flight plan, Telemetry, Payload information and Video are all viewable on a consolidated dashboard in real-time.

A reliable autopilot for a dependable UAV

The Autonomous Flight Control Unit of the ALPHA 800 UAS is the VECTOR autopilot from UAV Navigation. The VECTOR has been used to convert manned aircrafts into unmanned and its technology has more than 50K accumulated hours of flight. This powerful autopilot has been custom-fitted with the ALPHA 800 and is integrated with the right sensors including high precision GPS antenna, proximity sensor as weight on wheels (WOW) or rpms sensor, to deliver the most accurate navigation.

Easy to fly and maintain

With every ALPHA 800 UAS a full set of documentation is provided with every sale and includes: Pilot Operating Handbook, Platform Logbook, Pre-flight Checklists and Maintenance Manual. These materials have been written following the aeronautic standards and ensure that all tasks are perfomed easily.

The same technology used on the PCM data link is now used to provide radio relay capabilities. The radio relay is fully compatible with gimbal camera payloads. 


The complete system is based on the ALPHA 800 UAV Airframe and includes all systems and subsystems to carry out the most typical UAV missions. Delivered in rugged cases and with maintenance and operator´s manuals, users will be able to operate whenever and wherever they wish.

Training program:

Our training program takes place in Madrid and ensures that all new ALPHA 800 operators learn how to operate and maintain the ALPHA 800 platform.
